Sweb Energy Harbour Festival
Due to the success of the event in 2003, the event is being expanded from the Harbourside to include Queen Square and the Mud Dock. There will be a wide variety of activities in Queen Square, including a small stage featuring live music and performances, a range of markets and a themed area celebrating Bristol’s twinning with Portugese city Oporto. N.B. There will be road closures in and around Queen Square throughout the duration of the event.

Bristol Half Marathon
Queen Square will host the Runner’s Village for the South West’s largest road race. Runners will gather here before and after the race for refreshments, bag storage, massage and other facilities. N.B. There will be extensive road closures throughout the city and Queen Square will be closed to traffic for the whole day.
